P J Contracting Ltd is a Christchurch owned Driveway, Decking and Paving Company. We can handle all types of concrete work from plain or decorative (exposed, colour or stamped) driveways, paths and patios – right through to small-medium sized commercial concrete placing. Our specialist Decking and Paving Team, handle all types and sizes of decking, paving and hard landscape work. We have our own excavators and trucks so we can handle all our own excavation/preparation work ready for our concrete placing team to place the concrete – or for an asphalt crew to lay the asphalt.
About PJ Contracting
Originally started by Jim Burnard with a friend, the Company grew rapidly handling repair work after the earthquakes. With Jim soon owning the business on his own, he took the opportunity to expand the Company further and today is joined in the ownership by Richard Vernel and Andy Burnard. Rich Vernel now handles all the day-to-day operations with Jim and Andy only involved in the background. The Company has completed more than 3000 driveway repairs/replacement since the February 2011 earthquake.
